Business connectors in business are worth their weight in gold because who you know and who knows you is the grease within the machinery of commerce.

When someone comes to you with an opportunity or issue, can you instantly pick up the phone and either call or email a contact for the solution? If not, how many people do you know that can?

These yes or no questions speak to the quality AND quantity of your connections and as an offshoot, your reputation.

If you answered no to either one, then you desperately need to expand the quality of your network.

If you answered yes, then your true focus is to maintain and grow the network.

Remember, whether you’re networking online or in person – it’s all ‘social’ out there. So what’s your reputation?
