It’s in the ‘knowing’.

And the knowing comes from the times when you fall and pick yourself up. It’s in the figuring it out when that perfect plan isn’t perfect leaving you dazed and confused.

The recent NBA finals showcased a young man who by all accounts may the best player in the game – talent wise. But he elected to jump straight from high school into the pros and then when in the pros, decided he’d ‘lost’ enough. So he formed his super team in an attempt to finally win.

But this talent laden man ran up against something he’s missing. A team who’d been there before and ‘lost’. A team who didn’t take the expedient path and instead learned the ultimate lesson the only way one can – by falling and getting back up over and over again.

So the moral to this story boys and girls is that dues must be paid and there is no short cut. That when you’re lying face first you’ve not failed…you’re just learning how to win.
