For entrepreneurs life and business are two sides of the same coin. Many experts and life coaches recommend that we ‘balance our lives’ by leaving work behind at 5:00, but that to me is one of the most ridiculous statements I’ve heard.

Our business is our life’s passion and where we spend most of our waking life. When we’re not at our business, we’re thinking about it because it’s our future.

Therefore, our definition of balance is both personal and different from the rest. Balance begins when we remove the outside pressure of other’s expectations of us.

Make apologies to no one – we’re entrepreneurs and that’s just how we roll.
