What’s The Message?
Today, aside from taking a much needed and very long ride on my motorcycle, I’m also preparing for a speech at Temple University’s Fox School of Business next week. There I’ll be speaking before a group of up and coming entrepreneurs belonging to the Entrepreneurial Student Association.
I cannot wait to feel the energy and see the hunger in the eyes of these young people as they are literally the future of business. But more important will be my message. I have to deliver my business truths in a way that offers both inspiration and a strong dose of reality. It’s a fine line.
For sure they’re coming into the game at one of the toughest times on record, but should they really care? After all, we’re entrepreneurs and I believe that to a degree, times are tough because our lens on the world is partially filled with the past.
It’s time to clear away the background noise and distractions in order to see the future for what it really is – opportunity.

Don’t forget a small dose of ethics in your presentation. Something the latter generation has needed a dose of. I am sure your wisdom will trump most of what they learned in business school. I am sooo jealous, you get to have some 2 wheel therapy, good for you!
Absolutely right! Ethics are paramount.
Wish you were here to ride brother…one day soon we’ll share the road.
